Georg Zachmann

At Bruegel he has worked since 2009 on the European electricity and gas market, energy system decarbonisation, European renewables policy and green growth. As a member of the German Advisory Group Georg advises governments in Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Georgia on energy policy issues. Prior to Bruegel Georg worked at the German Ministry of Finance, the German Institute for Economic Research in Berlin and the energy think tank LARSEN in Paris. Georg holds a doctoral degree in economics.
